While your adventure starts at Villa Nangu there is plenty to explore in the arctic north. Notwithstanding plans you may have already made for yourself we are able to help you get in touch with local businesses arranging a range of activities in Lapland. Whether it is Husky sledding, Horseback riding or seeing the Reindeers, which actually can be spotted quite often just gracing at our backyard of Villa Nangu .

You can plan your adventure into the surrounding wilderness with us based on you needs – make it as long or short as you want. Guided day trips include light snacks and coffee in the wild by the fire. Please inquire for prices.
For all hunters out there, Villa Nangu is surrounded by vast government wilderness lands, where you can purchase daily or weekly hunting rights for small game. Needless to say you must hold all appropriate hunting and weapons licences, but if you have all this in order we can take you out to breathtaking sceneries and with some luck, get something truly good on table.
During your stay you will be able to enjoy traditional Finnish wellness with a choice of two saunas on the property. A modern electrical heated sauna in the main building for convenience or a traditional wood heated sauna in its own building down by the lake for the fully authentic experience.
There is also a wood heated hot tub down by the lake next to the sauna building where you can enjoy the midnight sun or a crisp winter night under the stars.
Other activities that we can offer for you in-house are: snowshoeing, skiing, aurora watching/hunting, ice fishing, troll fishing during summer, lay your own nets on our lake to smoke the freshest fish there is and guided lake cruises of Lake Inari. Rowboat is at your disposal at no extra charge at all times. (Electric motor can be included on request)
The gazebo by the lake is the perfect place for your pre-dinner drinks on a warm summer evening or warming barbeque over an open fire on a crisp winter day.
